More than 9,000 high school runners log two million miles while gearing themselves up in HOKA gear and swag

(EUGENE, OR.) September 1st, 2022 — AthleticNET is celebrating the success of the 2022 HOKA Summer Mile Club. More than 9,000 high school runners logged over two million miles from June 1 through August 31 using AthleticNET’s AthleticLOG. Along the way, athletes aimed to unlock HOKA Summer Mile Club rewards and prizes upon completing 100 miles, 250 miles, and 400 miles.

Compared to 2021, the HOKA Summer Mile Club saw nearly 4,000 more participants and had more than 800,000 additional miles logged. Additionally, at almost every level of mileage, HOKA and AthleticNET saw double the number of participants reaching the 100, 250, and 400 mile milestones, including more than 6,500 athletes earning themselves a HOKA Summer Mile Club bucket hat.

“The HOKA Summer Mile Club grew at a meteoric pace this year, which speaks to the tremendous commitment athletes have made to put in the work to take their fitness to whole new levels,” said Scott Bush, AthleticNET Chief Marketing Officer. “I couldn’t be more proud working with HOKA and Soul Focus to once again inspire thousands of high school runners to run literally millions of miles throughout the summer.”

While logging miles throughout the summer, athletes earned and unlocked rewards at three milestones, providing them with added motivation to prepare for the upcoming cross country season.

With a full team, high school-aged athletes can compare their team to others across their state and the United States, as they aspire to earn a national title.
